May Chang: Litsea cubeba Extraction is by steam distillation of the fruit Odour - intense, sweet, citrus-lemony and fruity History - used in Traditioinal Chinese Medicine for dysmenorrhea, lower back pain, chills,headaches and muscular aches and pains and travel sickness. Uses - has been used for flatulence, indigestion; in bronchitis and asthma; for high blood pressure, nervous tension and stress-related conditions. Its tonic and astringent properties have been used for acne and spots. Spray or vapourised in a room during the winter 'flu epidemics for its antiseptic and deoderising properties and its uplifting and stimulatimg aroma Blends with basil, bergamot, geranium, lavender, neroli, petitgrain, rose, rosemary, rosewood and ylang-ylang. The major constituents in our oil are available on request (GC/MS) Safety - non-toxic, non-irritant, may be sensitising in some.
