History - has a long history of medicinal use in China, Japan and Malaysia. Dried leaves were put in the folds of Indian cashmere shawls in Victorian time to protect them against moths. A base note in many Oriental type perfumes. Uses - has been used to help in cases of fluid retention and cellulite. Has a deoderising effect. Useful for stimulating regrowth of skin cells and forming scar tissue. Assist healing rough, cracked skin, sore and wounds. Has been used for acne, eczema, fungal infections and scalp disorders. Frigidity, nervous exhaustion and stress-related conditions. A 'grounding' oil useful for excessive mental activity and those who are 'out of touch' with their body. Blends with bergamot, black pepper, frankincense, geranium, ginger, lavender, lemongrass, myrrh, neroli, rose, rosewood, sandalwood. The major constituents in our oil are available on request (GC/MS) Safety - non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitising.
