Oil is steam-distilled from organically grown flower heads.

Odour - warm, sweet, fruity-herbaceous odour.

History - used medicinally for over 2,000 years. Called the 'plant's physician' as it is believed to promote the health of plants nearby.

Uses - soothing, calming and antidepressant. Useful for children when they are feeling impatient, disagreeable or tense. Reported to have a calming influence on hyperactive children (try 1 drop on clothing). Has been used for arthritis and inflamed joints, muscular pains and sprains.

Blends with - bergamot, lavender, marjoram, rosemary, sandalwood.

Safety - non-toxic, non-irritant can cause dermatitis in some individuals.
