Well known for its regenerative effect on the skin, the hydrosol can be added to oatmeal masks for a deep cleansing, non drying effect.  Use to remove make-up and as a cleanser. Put on face and neck during hot weather, in dry atmospheres, to refresh when travelling. Applied to skin prior to shaving it will reduce inflammation and allow a closer shave, used after shaving it will soothe any razor burn. Combine with Witch Hazel as a cooling after sun lotion.  For tired fractious children add a small quantity to the bedtime bath water or lightly sprinkle on the bed.  Use it to cleanse cuts and scrapes, to cool itchy skin and conditions such as eczema.  Mixed with Rose hydrosol for a cooling application during a hot flush. Apply in a compress to eyes and forehead to relieve headaches, to neck and shoulders for stress and tension.
